floating under water holding my breath
waiting for time because it's hard to catch.
Wishing it was something easy to fetch
But such is life.
I guess.
Blowing bubbles to pass the lonely hours,
planting dreams in place of flowers.
Picking each petal one by one
face to face with a harsh reality because there's no place to run
I've come this far to get all caught up again
stuck in sinking sand
constantly pulling me in.
The weight of the water makes it hard for me to even move
from this mental state.
there's no gate for me to press my face against
no palm readers to read to me my fate.
Just me all alone with the mermaids and starfishes
picking strands of seaweed.
enough with all these wishes.
