Eat.Pray.Italy!

Boun Giorno!! Today was amazing. We were absolutely determined to see Italy, and we did it. By way of train, we took an hour and a half ride to Ventimiglia, Italy. It's right a long the French Riviera -not far from Cannes and Nice. Ahh it was beautiful. I had real italian lasgna (lasagne). I have definitely fell in love with these different languages. I must learn French and Italian. The town was a small town that I would not stay for vacation, due to the fact that there isn't much to do socially except for the beach and eating. Nonetheless, it was gorgeous and I can not wait to travel back to Italy. My next stop will be Milan and Rome. =) Ciao!

See a little of what I'm seeing

Eat.Pray.CANNES 2

It has been exactly one week since I arrived here in Cannes, and I can say that I am really having a great time. Sure, I'm exciting to return home--simply for the fact that I always miss home for some reason lol and because the festival can become a bit overwhelming. Anyway, I have been working with my internship--The Film Stage for a few days now and basically I've been sending out emails to the press to try to arrange interviews for the site, transcribing interviews, and I've even got to write my own film review! So everything is running smoothly. I hope to spend some time and relax on the gorgeous beach, and see just a few more movies this last week. Oh yes and spend the day in Monaco!

Eat.Pray.CANNES

so today is may 11th (12th) and its 2:33 am. I am currently in my room at the Villa de Maupassant in Cannes, France. Cannes is such a gorgeous place that will change your life as far as the way you want to live lol any who. I am here with the program Creative Minds in Cannes and I signed up for their internship program. I am supposed to be interning with a company called The Film Stage but my advisor just arrived today and was not able to contact me nor another girl who will be working with them. There are tons of stars here and the red carpet is tempting. I have access to see hundreds of movies which I plan to do. I only want to see Sleeping Beauty , Snow White, Pirates... as far as BIG movies but I want to see a lot of short films and indie movies because thats something that I wont be able to see in the US. so yea. My time here has been pleasant despite being locked out of my room one night and having to sleep on the floor in a friends room...and now realizing that I have a blister on my foot after walking for HOURS for two days straight. But Cannes Film Festival is definitely a European Hollywood. Like, Today I saw a Gaga performance. Granted I was far away and saw only the tip of her head (well red veil--its GAGA) but I heard her performance very clearly. so yeah what an experience and theres still about 12 days left so ttyl! ps. i have Biiig pictures lol
