Im not sure if this is going to be free writing or poetry...either way its one in the same. Right?
stripped.
skin smooth like the feeling of Rose Art crayons.
eyes dark with pain
Her reflection- she doesn't want to claim.
is it because she's insecure?
But she know's she's beautiful. Her Daddy tells her everyday.
However, to her , it's just not the same.
Tears begin to squeeze drop by drop like toothpaste bein wrung from its tube.
Lost in lies. She is confused.
How can she love others without loving herself first?
She needs someone to love her before she can make that step.
why is this step the hardest?
and just to clear the definition or the misinterpretations to love yourself is to not boast about how sexy or badd you think you look or how someone else thinks you look. To love yourself is to find beauty when there's no makeup, when your eyes are tired and low, when your stomach bulges after dinner, when your hair is all over your head. To love yourself is to love your spirit and your heart not your shoes, clothes, bags, hair and nails.
Fair enough right?
Well she doesn't have either. She can't afford the designer things and though to love herself is priceless, she can not afford that either.
She's waiting for someone to tell her that she is beautiful, one in a million, like no other and the longer he takes to come, the longer she falls and the harder she lands.
who will cry for this little girl?
The girl who cries for a man.
