As the title implies, I absolutely love the 80's! I think the 80's was one of the best eras with the most vibrant fashions, futuristic and energetic music and of course a culture that any high spirited teenager would love to grow up in. I have chosen to put a spotlight on one of my favorite singers from the 80's, Irena Cara. You might have seen Irene in the movies Sparkle and Fame-- where in both, she sings her heart out. Irene is also the writer of the song "Fame" and "What a feeling" as can be heard in the 80's film Flashdance. Being a VERY strong vocalist, charismatic actress and great dancer, Cara is the definition of a triple threat!
