So in my english class this morning we were looking at a presentation where someone was studying chinese poetry and she made her own collection of poems based on the structure and style of the chinese poems. The class was asked to do their own so here goes:
Seeking the Sunflower.
With the season's heat behind me
I walk with passion to find my muse.
With hopes that it will be standing tall,
All of it's wisdom, I will use.
Its illumination guides me in the clear direction
Hoping face to face, Ill see clearly my reflection.
This free voice of nature- bright, distinct, silently loud
will be the growth of me.
