There's been this constant reminder to the black race about Black men not havin dreams or not having goals. What about those who do? Why do we overlook them? Sure. We love Barack Obama, we fought the power with X and tried to go on strike any chance we could with King. But what about that black boy next door. You know, the one you and your friends call a clown because he wont be your shadow while your out on the streets. The one you hate because he answers questions in class but only because you wish you were like him. The one who dreams to be Your Boss. Why don't we fall in love with the dreamer? instead of the dealer?. ..
Why do mothers tell their sons they're gonna be worthless and then cry when they see that their son's life is drowing. We are the problem. Why dont we let the Black Boy Dream?
