BLACK CAT.

It's clear to see the pain shine in her glossy eyes.
stained with the tears of which she once cried.

From the way she seductively purrs
to her elongated stretch
the arch in her back
the sharpeness of her claws

living above all laws

She is the epitome
of virtue
of the fight
of the BEST.

Nevertheless, she is love.
underneath that tough skin
she hides a heart that pounds so loud,
she moves to the sound of its beat.

Light on her paws, she pounces from west to east
BLACK CAT
camouflaged with the streets but
her fluorescence leads the night
BLACK CAT
proud of her soft hisses
she knows it's more powerful than a mighty roar.

Walking with confidence
as if she was the ruler of all lands
she personifies wisdom
knowledge and romance

when she passes they all bow
offering her complete reverence
she is a queen.
a planted seed
kissed by God
molded and scolded by oppression
she rises.

she has risen
She lives for the movement
she lives for equality
Black Cat lives
inside of me.
